The Friendly City of Fortuna
Fortuna was founded in the late 1800's and incorporated in 1906. Fortuna boasts an interesting history of farming, fruit orchards and logging. The depot museum offers a complete history of this area. Fortuna is also known for its annual rodeo, friendly merchants and townspeople.
The Pacific Ocean
The Pacific Ocean lies just 20 minutes from our park and provides miles of uncrowded sandy beaches. Centerville Beach pictured above lies just outside Ferndale and is perfect for exploring, beachcombing and walking in the surf.
